Mathematical proof that there is no god
or at least, proof that the devil controls disney and therefore western civilization:

More Placebo:
On Mar 13, the special edition cd/dvd of Placebo's 'Meds' will feature the Canal + performance with The Cure. I bet this version doesn't get released in this dumb country though.

Other key release dates AKA New Mvsic Tvesday Preview:
Mar 21 - Massive Attack - Collected (greatest hits w/ a bonus disc of stuff)
Apr 4 - Morrissey - Ringerleader of the Tormentors
Apr 4 - The Flaming Lips - At War With The Mystics
Apr 24 - The Streets - The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living
One of these bands is not like the others. Come on. Can you tell which one before my song is done? And now my song is done. I'll give you a hint. All of the above bands are from the UK except one, and they are from Oklahoma City.

Good "He Said / She Said" Duets:
Human League - Don't You Want Me Baby?
Jesus & Mary Chain w/ Hope Sandoval (of Mazzy Star) - Sometimes Always
The Postal Service feat. Jenny Lewis (of Rilo Kiely) - Nothing Better
Can you think of any others? Remember that they have to be good though.

Like Caligula, he's a God now.
NME, the so-called know all and end all on UK music, has declared Ian Brown the latest "Godlike Genius" and the Stone Roses self-titled album as the greatest British album of all-time. Usually I agree with a lot of what they write, but they are way off base here. I like the Roses as much as the next guy, but I seriously doubt that "the Monkey King" can be called a genius. For one, geniuses are allowed to fly British Airways, and Ian has been banned. I believe that "The Stones Roses" was amazing album, but I can think of lots of better British albums than that. Does anybody remember a little band called the Beatles? How about The Smiths, Radiohead, or The Cure? Did they forget that The Clash or the Sex Pistols were British? Even Blur and Carter The Unstoppable Sex have multiple albums better than that.

TV on DVD:
"Gimme A Break" & "Charles In Charge" Yep! Get some Nell Carter & Scott Baio action on your tube for Valentine's Day.

Bloc Party - Like Eating Glass (Black Strobe Remix)
It's long, and therefore my attention deprived mind thinks that the original was better, and that's probably why it wasn't on the remix album. But this has advantages that those versions don't; this is free and legal.
